Miscellaneous Tariff Bill Act of 2018 (MTB): Legislation passed providing tariff relief on approx. 1,660 products imported to the U.S.

Generalized System of Preferences (GSP): Rule passed providing relief on nearly 5,000 products from 120 developing countries.

Drive Safe Act: To lower the commercial driving age to 18, opening jobs to a new segment of the workforce in a tight segment of the economy.

OSHA Reform: NACD President Eric Byer participated in a roundtable with the U.S. House Committee on Education and Workforce Subcommittee on Workforce Protections on OSHA reforms.

Health Care: Throughout the first half of the year, NACD advocated for the Association Health Plan Rule, which was issued by OSHA in March.
