Next month, ACD members and fellow chemical distribution professionals are convening in Morristown, New Jersey for our 2026 Autumn Regional Meeting. On September 14 and 15, we are coming together for education, networking, and conversations focused on the issues shaping our industry.
In an ever-evolving field, this smaller, regional meeting offers an intimate setting where our members can connect with one another on emerging trends, exchange timely insights with peers, and expand their professional networks—all while following a program that offers valuable insights to move their businesses forward.
Highlights from the Autumn agenda include:
- Rules in Motion: Staying Ahead in Chemical Distribution: Evolving regulatory pressures continue to reshape the operating environment for chemical distributors. In this session, Analisa Puzzanghero, Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs at ACD, will provide insight into key developments affecting the industry, including changes to airspace restrictions above critical infrastructure, emerging state-level issues, and shifting trade policies that impact global supply chains and market access. Participants will leave with a stronger awareness of emerging compliance priorities and practical considerations for adapting to regulatory shifts across multiple jurisdictions.
- Navigating 2026 and Beyond: Strategic Moves For Your Industry: As President Trump nears the halfway point of his second term, businesses are navigating an evolving economic landscape marked by higher interest rates, persistent inflation, and shifting market dynamics. At the same time, rapid advancements in AI and the accelerating “Silver Tsunami” are transforming how companies operate, make decisions, and plan for leadership transitions. In this fast-paced session, Gene Marks will share practical strategies that leading organizations are using to drive growth, adapt to workforce changes, and position their companies for long-term success.
- From D.C. to Distribution: Policy Impacts on the Chemical Supply Chain: Join Eric Byer, President and CEO of ACD, for a timely and insightful update on how federal policy developments in Washington, D.C. are shaping the future of the chemical distribution industry. This session will explore the latest legislative and regulatory trends, examine their real-world implications for distributors, and highlight key advocacy priorities. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how policy decisions influence operations, compliance, and market dynamics—and what it means for the industry moving forward as we approach the midterm elections.
Beyond the agenda, our Autumn regional meeting reflects ACD’s continued commitment to making regional meetings more accessible and valuable to members. Because the challenges that our industry faces aren’t limited to location or business size, we’ve removed restrictions on our regional meetings. Members may now attend as many meetings as they like, at locations that make the most sense for their business.
Without these limitations, you have more opportunities to strengthen your networks and gain fresh perspectives from across the country and throughout the year. You never know when you’re going to find that next partnership or make that next sale, and these regional meetings offer the perfect opportunity!
