Explore ACD's New and Improved Regulatory Resource Guide

A constantly shifting regulatory outlook can be difficult to navigate. ACD is here to help.

Our regulatory team works constantly to keep members informed about the latest regulations and policies affecting the chemical distribution industry, so your regulatory compliance teams can make confident, well-informed decisions. One of the key tools we offer members is the Regulatory Resource Guide, a centralized document where you can find up-to-date regulatory compliance information.

Now, that resource is even easier to use.

Over the past year, ACD gathered feedback from members and frequent users about how we could make the Regulatory Resource Guide even more valuable to their businesses. We heard a consistent message: members wanted a resource that made it easier to quickly find the information most relevant to their operations.

We designed the newly updated Regulatory Resource Guide with that goal in mind. Agencies and topics are now arranged alphabetically, an interactive table of contents makes it easier to jump directly to specific regulatory areas, and customizable features allow users to identify which regulations apply to their business.

Regulations are always changing, and regulatory enforcement activity continues to increase. With our membership touching all areas of the chemical distribution industry and no member company having the exact same regulatory requirements, what matters most to one member may not be the top priority for another. Rather than asking members to work through information that may not apply to them, the new guide makes it easier to focus on the regulations that matter most to their operations.

Members can also use the guide as a gateway to additional ACD regulatory resources. Links throughout the document connect users with tools such as our RegClear videos, making it easy to find additional guidance when a topic requires a deeper dive.

And the improvements go beyond functionality. The guide includes an expanded U.S. Food and Drug Administration section to help members as the industry navigates increased enforcement in this area.

Most importantly, the Regulatory Resource Guide will continue to evolve alongside the regulatory environment. ACD will provide quarterly updates so members can rely on the guide as an ongoing resource for staying informed, strengthening compliance, and preparing for changing regulatory requirements.

Whether you need to quickly check a specific requirement, determine which regulations apply to your operations or dig deeper into an emerging compliance issue, the new Regulatory Resource Guide is designed to help you get to the information you need faster.
