Trade Compliance Audit Service

ACD has partnered with NUCO Logistics to offer ACD members access to a discounted trade compliance audit designed to help chemical importers review import activity, identify potential filing errors, and reduce exposure to U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) penalties.

This service is offered as a member benefit through ACD’s partnership with NUCO Logistics.

 

How This Supports ACD Members

CBP enforcement is increasing, and chemical importers are facing greater scrutiny due to evolving tariffs, trade policy changes, and AI-enabled targeting. Even unintentional errors in import filings can result in penalties of up to four times the loss of revenue, in addition to unpaid duties and taxes.

A proactive audit helps members:

  • Identify potential under- or over-reported import activity
  • Reduce the risk of costly CBP fines and penalties
  • Prepare documentation in the event tariff programs change or refunds become available
  • Demonstrate reasonable care before enforcement action occurs

 

About This Service

NUCO Logistics reviews import entries for common risk areas, including:

  • HTS classification
  • Country of Origin (COO)
  • Tariff program application
  • AD/CVD and TSCA requirements
  • Accuracy of broker-submitted data

Members receive a summary of findings and recommended next steps.

ACD members receive a 25% discount on NUCO’s standard audit rate.

  • Standard rate: $250 per hour
  • ACD member rate: 25% discounted
  • Minimum review: 10 entry filings (~ 5 hours)
